Swing Check Valve - is a butterfly-style check valve in which the disc, the movable part to block the flow, swings on a hinge, either onto the seat to block reverse flow or off the seat to allow forward flow. The seat opening cross-section may be perpendicular to the centerline between the two ports or at an angle. Although swing check valves can come in various sizes, large check valves are often swing check valves.

Each valve is specially designed to be disassembled by unscrewing the nuts in line leaving the tail pieces solvent cemented to the pipe. This true union allows you to remove the body for repairs, or cleaning, even providing the opportunity to change the body or spring tension.

Triton Check Valve - Swing-style features a 2" socket union on the inlet, 2" or 1 1/2" socket unions for the outlet, a molded 90° elbow, and a slim design to allow for clearance when installed with direct drive pumps.  Triton discharge pipe has molded "perfect-cut" dimensions to identify proper lengths for the Atlantic products and cut-to-fit increments on reverse side.  Works with all 1 1/2" or 2" pump outlets.  Maximum assembled height of 17" from the pump discharge to the center of the outlet pipe.  Can extend to any length using 2" sch 40 fittings.
