CAL PUMP POWER CONTROL CENTER
The Power Control Center
allows backyard water gardeners the flexibility of installing a
pond where no electricity is near the pond site. Now you can
control the operation of your pumps, UV clarifiers, underwater
lights, and other necessary items with the Power Control Center,
safety protected with a built-in GFCI.
The ultimate luxury
to power your pond.
Do you need an extra outlet near your pond?
Let's face it, ponds these days require all kinds of different
gadgets, so many that it's not uncommon to run out of outlets to
power them.
What do you do when you have more plugs than you
have outlets to plug them into? You could call an
electrician to run another line out to your pond, add a new
breaker to your fuse box, and of course charge you an arm and
leg (or a fin and a tail?) to do it.
Well that was the only alternative, until just
recently.
Introducing one of our top product picks!
The Cal Pump Power Control Center is an awesome piece of
equipment, and solves the previously difficult and expensive
problem of needing more power.
This unit comes with a 15' GFCI power cord,
using thick cable for high electrical loads, and delivers up to
4 different electrical outlets and also a low voltage hookup,
for your landscape lighting.
Two of the outlets can be set to a digital
timer, which controls multiple 'on/off' times during a 24 hour
period (great for underwater lighting and water features).
The low voltage connection is powered by it's
own separate digitial timer, so you can run your low voltage
landscape lighting from here also (up to 150 watts - generally
4-6 lights). This saves you lots of money, by not having
to be an extra timer/ballast for the lights.
Here are some pictures of how it looks
installed:

I love this unit to much, I have two on my pond!
One controls my entire filtration system,
including my pump, UV, air blower, and also a secondary
waterfall that I only run during the day, saving me money on my
electrical bills. I'm also running my UV on the same daily
cycle, which will extend my UV bulb life for up to a full extra
season. Soon I'll be adding my landscape lighting for that
part of the yard as well.
On my other unit (pictured above), I'm running
my underwater lighting on a timer, as well as my landscape
lighting for around the pond, illuminating the palm trees and
other features.
You should see how dramatic it is after dark,
when time kicks in, and all the lights come on...
For the pond owner who likes convenience and
automations, this is definitely worth the money to pick one up.
