Non-woven, dual-action polyester replacement filter pads measuring 12" x 12" x 1.75" thick.  Coarse layer removes large particles of debris.  Ultra-fine layer removes fine particles.

Activated carbon (also called activated charcoal or coal) is a form of carbon that has been processed to make it extremely porous and thus to have a very large surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions.  Specially designed and formulated for ponds and water gardens, this special filtration media removes toxic organic waste resulting from degrading fish waste, plants, algae and other chemical waste from runoff.  For best results, replace carbon every 30 days.
