Commercial PSP Pond Filters are specifically designed for "Heavy-Solid Waste" applications in large pond systems with heavy fish loads, typically commercial projects. Similar to its smaller counterpart, the PSP Filter, Commercial PSP Pond Filters are also multi-functional, accomplishing both, mechanical and biological filtration, due to the use of our FilterCLAY media. Enlarged Filter Lateral openings increase media bed circulation and allow for the use of larger filter media, such as our FilterCLAY. This combination of specialized filter laterals and our 4-8 mm FilterCLAY provides better solid waste capture and a more effective backwash when compared to other filter media's like fine sand. Commercial PSP Pond Filters are available in either, top-mount or side-mount valve styles with high-quality, "Spun-Wound Fiberglass" construction that offers exceptional durability. Available in eight sizes with a maximum flow rate of 300 GPM, there is a Commercial PSP Pond Filter to suit any large application. Commercial PSP Filters feature a "Spun-Wound Fiberglass" construction.  They offer exceptional durability and are best suited for commercial applications.  Commercial PSP Filters feature enlarged filter lateral openings which increase filter media bed circulation and allow for the use of a larger filter media.  Large filter media is more suitable for heavy solid waste applications.  This combination of specialized filter laterals and our 4-8mm FilterClay media provides better solid waste capture and more effective backwashing as compared to fine sand.  Commercial PSPs are available in either top-mount or side-mount valve styles and in eight sizes with a maximum flow rate of 300 GPM. FilterClay Media is porous which provides and exceptional environment for nitrifying bacteria. 6-way, Multi-port Filter Valve simplifies operation Simple design, easy to install and maintain. Remote positioning capable   FilterClay Media is pure, organic clay, finely ground and granulated into specific sized pellets (4 - 8mm), baked at a temperature of 1200° C inside a rotary kiln, without artificial additives, pesticides or dyes.  FilterClay Media weighs significantly less than sand and resists caking, creating a more effective filter bed, better suited for heavy solid waste applications.  Additionally, FilterClay provides an exceptional environment for colonizing nitrifying bacteria. FEATURES: "Fixed" Filter Media Bed provides effective solid waste capture and backwashing of the media. No internal filter screens that can clog... PSP diffuser allows large debris/waste particles to easily flush from the filter during backwash. FilterClay Media is of a specific size and weight best suited for heavy solid waste applications. FilterClay Media is porous providing an exceptional environment for nitrifying bacteria. Six-way Multi-port Filter Valve simplifies operation. Simple design, easy to install and maintain. Remote positioning. PSP Internal Filter Laterals have larger openings that maximize circulation within the filter during filtering and backwashing, resulting in better solids capture and filter media bed cleaning.     Non-Obstructive Filter Diffuser allows large particle waste to exit the filter easily, no screens to clog.
