Aquabead Features:
High efficiency due
to increased lateral flow surface area within the filter. This
allows the use of smaller pumps to do the same pond turnover
that normally would require a higher wattage or amperage pump to
do the same job. (The energy savings with this filter would be
significant. This filter was designed to provide the end
consumer with the most economical filter to operate with the
least amount of frustration.)
Higher
flow Multiport valve, the least restrictive on the
market. With 2" thread ports on all models, you are
assured of maximum flow with this valve.
With the
built in Vortex
design all heavy solids are gently spun to the center of
the filter where they sit waiting for the AquaBead Purge
valve to be opened. By opening this valve with the filter
under pressure the accumulated heavy solids are purged out
to waste in only a few seconds.
The
AquaBead
Life Support System is
the industry 1st. With the built in AquaBead Life Support
System you can use your koi pond air pump to supply much
needed oxygen to the bead filter during medical treatment
bypass or times of pump failure, etc.
Comes standard with the
Aquabead Bead Agitator System. Standard equipment on all
models is the Agitator to break up the bead pack to give an
efficient backwash to the filter which means the bead filter
will go longer between backwashings.
The
AquaBead
Pressure Gauge gives
true readings of tank pressure unlike some that give false
readings due to their mounting position on the filter.
A
large union spring check
valve is used that not only enables huge amount of flow from the
Agitator to the beads, it is also easy to change the body of the
valve in case of failure. With the double union design the body
can be changed in second using no tools. Just unscrew the
unions, replace the body, and you're done.
With
rebuildable
union ball valve being used on the purge drain, you
never have to cut off a failed ball valve. Disassembles in
second to clean or rebuild.
The AquaBead filter carries a
lifetime warranty
(see bottom of page). This means that if at anytime
you own the filter, the filter vessel fails, then you get a
new filter at no cost.
Easy
Access. Should you need access to the internals
of this filter, simply remove the top dome and you're in. No
need to remove any plumbing with the AquaBead
filter.

Here's what is covered in
the LifeTime Warranty:
The Tank,
Multiport Valve, internal and external pipework is guaranteed to
be free from defects and should these items ever fail during the
LifeTime of the original purchaser at the original installation
site of the original purchaser, they will be replaced free of
charge to the original purchaser.
Excluded from
the warranty is gaskets and seals which are guaranteed for 2
years from date of purchase.
Bead Agitator is
warranted for 1 year from purchase.
Freezing of the
Tank, Multiport and pipework is not guaranteed and
shall void
the warranty.
Responsibility
for shipping costs to and from our factory rests
with the
original purchaser.
