My Koi pond has never looked this clean since the day I filled it. I have been laboring many hours trying to keep my pond clean. The filter pad works for about a week or two. Then your back swimming in the pond again to clean the pump, pad etc... I was so happy to through may old pump and filter pad in the bucket in the trash can. The Bio filter took about 5 days to become crystal clear. I had to backwash the system three to four times the first week to keep it pond clean. Then like overnight presto! the pond was clear. After 5 days of the system operating I could see the very bottom of my 4ft. deep pond. Nice! Hey I have fish in my pond Oh yea about 12 of them. Now I can count them swimming around in there. I wanted to share my Idea with these pictures I have added. I found the perfect storage shed for the systems. The Bio Filter system is protected from the harsh elements. I found that Lowes sells these storage sheds and bought mine there. around $169.00. I guess with all new hoses, plumbing, bio-filter system all hooked up and running cost me around $3500.00. I had to do some custom cutting and drilling some holes in the sides for my inlet and outlet plumbing. One hole for the electrical cords. I ran all new electrical from breaker box to outside wall on GFCI. down to a four outlet waterproof electrical box next to the shed. I still have one extra outlet to use for yard work or power tools, light etc.. If anyone has questions I will be happy to answer them.
